What are the on road costs?

Question

Notes
You need to be careful when negotiating the price of your new car because new car prices are often listed excluding on road costs. Some potential on road costs that you should look out for are as follows: - Government Stamp duty (can be between 2% and 5%) - Pre-delivery or 'dealer charges' (can be from $1,500 to $2000+) - Compulary Third Party insurance (CTP - Vehicle Registration Be sure to discuss these or any other hidden costs with your dealer before you finalise a purchase price.
Comments
Buy your car at the end of the month when the sales rep has a deadline of numbers to meet. They sometimes drop the price in an urgency to get your signature on the last days of the month.
