What is the car’s odometer reading? Knowing a car's mileage can help determine a used car’s value. Whilst a car might be relatively new it may have been driven great distances in that short time. On the other side, a car maybe quite old in age yet it may have only been driven short distances and therefor more likely to still be in good condition. This is where the odometer reading can be very useful. Please also keep in mind that used car odometers can be tampered with, which is why it is in your best interest to ask the seller.
